Golf trip leaderboard
Free · Lowest score wins (the board knows) · Ricky saw the shank
A golf trip produces two things: scorecards and disputes. The scorecards get lost. The disputes last decades. By Sunday dinner nobody agrees what happened Friday morning, the trip champion is decided by whoever argues longest, and the guy who shot 94 is somehow telling the story. The board remembers what actually happened.
If You Ain't First keeps the trip on one live leaderboard: every round logged from the cart, standings that understand golf (lowest wins — no spreadsheet gymnastics), round-by-round winners, and an AI announcer named Ricky providing the color commentary your buddy's back-nine collapse has always deserved.
Built for the buddies trip
- Lowest score wins, natively. Boards rank in either direction — set it to “fewest” and the leaderboard finally agrees with the game.
- Round winners and a trip champion. Daily rounds crown a winner every day; the season total crowns the trip. Two races, maximum needle.
- Logged from the cart. It's a website that behaves on phones — post the round from the 19th hole while the wound is fresh. Photo of the scorecard optional, for the archive.
- Side bets welcome. Skins, birdie counts, balls lost (a fewest-wins classic), and the where-do-we-eat argument goes to a group vote.
FAQ
Can we play net scores? Log whatever number the group honors — gross, net, Stableford points (set the board to most-wins for points). The board ranks what you feed it; the handicap committee remains your problem.
Does everyone need the app? There is no app. One link or QR in the trip chat, ten seconds, done — including the one guy whose phone is nine years old.
What does it cost? Free for three active boards, unlimited players, Ricky included. Cheaper than the sleeve of balls you're about to lose.
